The queue
Everything still pending is listed with a thumbnail and its time. You can cancel a scheduled post until shortly before its time – the uploaded file is removed with it.
The archive
Every published post stays with you with its thumbnail, caption and date, grouped by month and filtered by type. A link takes you to the real post on Instagram. Stories have no such link – of those, your own copy of the preview stays here.
When something goes wrong
A post that did not go out is reported at the top and names the reason in plain words – for instance that your account was not signed in at that moment, or that Instagram did not accept it. “Try again” sends the same post once more, without you uploading the file again.
Frequently asked questions about scheduling
Which files can I upload?
Photos up to 15 MB as JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF, and videos up to 100 MB as MP4 or MOV. A carousel takes 2 to 10 files, photos and videos mixed. If a file is too large, the page tells you before the upload starts.
Which clock is the publishing time based on?
German time. If you are in another time zone, the field also shows what that time is where you are – so there is nothing for you to convert.
Can I still cancel a scheduled post?
Yes. The queue lists everything still to come, and every entry can be cancelled until shortly before its time. The uploaded file is removed along with it.
Why is music only available on reels?
Because Instagram attaches music to video content only, not to photos or photo stories. That is why the music search appears in the wizard only when you are putting a reel together.
What happens to a story after 24 hours?
On Instagram it is gone – smartFollower does not change that. In the archive, however, the preview with caption and date stays, marked as your own copy. There is no link to the original, because an expired story no longer has one.
